Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast reporter. Best known for anchoring the CNN morning show At This Hour, Bolduan is an American journalist on the broadcast. Bolduan was previously a cohost of the CNN weekday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a key part of CNN's award-winning coverage of the 2012 presidential election and in 2016. Bolduan has also reported from Washington DC, she has been covering both the US House as well as the Senate. Bolduan's reports on the activities of Congress and events during her time as an official of the Capitol Hill Unit included the discussion to increase the debt limit for the US and discussions by the super-committee. Additionally, she was a general assignment correspondent covering stories such as that of the Christmas Day bombing attempt the landmark Supreme Court decision on Obamacare as well as the implementation of the stimulus program of the government in 2009.
